Boise State Engineering Receives $5,000 Grant for STEM Outreach

The Boise State College of Engineering in Idaho has received a $5,000 grant from the Sparklight Charitable Giving Fund. This grant will help create pathways for all Idahoans to pursue careers in STEM fields. The funding will support events like the annual Engineering and Science Festival and E-Girls summer camp hosted by the Micron Student Success Center. These events aim to expose students to STEM activities early on to encourage them to pursue careers in those fields. Over 4,000 Idahoans will benefit from this grant, exploring higher education opportunities at Boise State University and beyond.
