"Boise Library's Summer Activity Passports Promote Reading and Greenery"

Reviewed by Madi Wagner / BoiseLocal.org

The Boise Public Library is offering "Activity Passports" as part of this year's Summer Reading Program. These passports are filled with activities that extend the reading experience. Participants can earn stamps by completing the activities and contributing to the community goal of 6,000 stamps. If the goal is reached, five trees will be planted in local parks with the help of Parks and Rec.

It's not too late to sign up for the Summer Reading Program and start collecting stamps in your passport. Passports can be turned in as late as August 9th, and stamps can also be logged in Beanstack. The library aims to make Boise greener while encouraging reading and exploration this summer.
