Zoo Boise celebrated World Crocodile Day, putting the spotlight on their Nile crocodile named Pandora. Pandora was rescued from a Louisiana canal after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, likely a victim of the illegal pet trade. Now safe at Zoo Boise, she serves as an ambassador for her species, educating visitors about the threats faced by crocodiles in the wild. By visiting Pandora, guests can contribute to the conservation efforts for crocodiles and other endangered species.
